What is Selca?
Selca is a K-beauty app that brings the Korean beauty method to your phone: the animal face typing quiz, the full 12-tone personal color analysis, and Korean skin typing turned into a complete AM/PM routine. Everything is appearance and styling — quizzes first, photos always optional.
Is Selca free?
The animal face test is free forever, and so are the skin-type quiz and shelf check. The deeper analyses — personal color and the skin blueprint — are one-time unlocks. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges anywhere in the app.
What is the animal face test?
It's the typing quiz Korea uses to describe its favorite faces: puppy (강아지상), cat (고양이상), deer, rabbit, fox, and more. Answer a short quiz and get a shareable result card with your animal type and vibe keywords. No photo required, no scores — just your type.
What is personal color analysis?
The Korean 12-tone system: whether you're warm or cool, your season and subtype, and the palette that flatters you — makeup shades, hair colors, and clothing tones. A verdict at a studio in Seoul or LA costs hundreds of dollars; in Selca it's a single one-time unlock, and re-analysis is always free.
What is the Skin Blueprint?
Korean skin typing turned into a complete morning and evening routine: specific products in the right order, at three budget tiers. Prescriptions, not endless options. It describes cosmetic routines only — Selca never makes medical or treatment claims.
Do I have to upload a photo?
No. Every analysis works from quiz answers alone. If you choose to share a face photo, it is processed to generate your result and then deleted — never stored, never used to identify you, and never used to train models.
Why one-time purchases instead of a subscription?
Because an analysis is a verdict, not a service. You pay once, the result is yours forever, and re-running an analysis is always free. We think charging monthly for something you learn once is the wrong deal.
How does Selca make product recommendations?
Every pick links out to retailers you already trust — Amazon by default, or Olive Young Global and YesStyle when you want it straight from Korea. Selca may earn a commission when you buy through links; your price never changes.
Does Selca track me across other apps?
No. Selca does not use cross-app tracking or ad identifiers. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings > Privacy & account > Delete account. Deletion starts a 30-day grace period during which you can restore your account by signing back in; after that, your account and data are permanently deleted.
