Common Questions
How do I delete my account?
Open the app and go to Settings > Privacy & account > Delete account. Deletion starts a 30-day grace period during which you can restore your account by signing back in. After 30 days, your account and associated data are permanently deleted.
Do I need to upload a photo?
No. Photos are always optional — every analysis works from quiz answers alone. If you do share a face photo, it is processed to generate your result and then deleted. We never store face geometry or biometric data, and your photos are never used to train models.
Are there subscriptions?
No. Selca sells one-time unlocks only. Pay once for an analysis and it's yours forever — and re-analysis is always free. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges anywhere in the app.
How do refunds work?
Purchases are billed by Apple's App Store, so Apple's refund process applies. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, or email us and we'll help you sort it out.
My purchase isn't showing up. What do I do?
In the app, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases. If the unlock still doesn't appear, email us with the address on your account and we'll fix it.
How do product links work?
Product picks open retailer pages (Amazon, Olive Young Global, or YesStyle) in an in-app browser. Selca may earn a commission when you buy through links; your price never changes.
How do I turn off notifications?
You can turn notification categories on or off in Settings inside the app, or disable them entirely in your device's system settings.
Is Selca medical advice?
No. Selca describes appearance and styling only — cosmetic routines, colors, and shades. It does not diagnose, treat, or make claims about any skin or health condition. For health concerns, see a qualified professional.
